No Lights!

Thursday morning, wet, cold, dark..... but whilst the streetlights mask my problem for a while, it wasnt long before I realised that we had a problem... no lights! Ok, "no lights" is a small case of over egging it, we had rear, we had "side", we had "main beam" but no "dipped" lights, so at least other road user could see us.....

Ok, bulbs checked, fuses checked... our attention turned to the switch. A quick run round to an auto shop near to work and a temporary switch sourced. It quickly dawned that the switch was not the issue..... wiring up the new the fault was still at large. 

This left the relay, of corse not a chance of one of these local, so onto the Web and Machine 7, 1st post next morning a nice new item, popped in and all well...... no to put the dashboard back!

Festival Fever

Looking towards next year and the Festival list is building nicely!, looks like we will be starting off in early May going trough to August. From Dorset, to Derbyshire, down to Somerset, Yorkshire, Cambridge and back to Yorkshire, with more to be added...... wellies are at the ready. We only had one "tow" last year and that was escaping the mud at Galtres.... lets hope that we avoid another like that.

We tried to list all the bands we saw last year....... but gave up, far too many, but the highlights include 3 Daft Monkeys - several times, Wagner!, the Levellers, Hobo Jones and so many more.....................

Line ups are starting to be released and we look sure to catch our Festival Favs!

Lighting Fun.....

We have had some issues with the rear lighting, the brake and tail light not working. I had thought it to be the unit, as the picture shows, its seen better days!, so a new one was order and fitter, however it made no difference. So a check of the wiring, again, new bulbs and a general "clean" returned a working "old" unit!, so we just fitted the new lense to the old unit and put it all back together. All was well for a day or so, but than i noticed the probelm was back. As you will see from the second picture the wiring is not so good, so this was re-done and know all seams fine!
