So heres to another 12 months of Camper Van fun!
(Rascal not so lucky, with a fair amount of welding needed, but apart from that a clean bill of health)

Pre MOT

We have just dropped off Rascal, Daisys slightly older brother, for his MOT. He passed no issues last year so we are hoping for the same this year! The plan is to drop Daisy for her MOT when we pick Rascal up, this all depends if he passes the test!

A couple hours have been spent on the little jobs, blowing exhaust, windscren wipers and having just spent shy of £300.00 on wheel bearings and a new tyre and tracking we hope that we can get both through the test without too much hassle, but when taking two cars with a combined age of over 70, well its more than fingers crossed!

29th Jan. 2011

A quiet week on the "Bus" front, last weeks petrol hose repair seams to be ok, and apart from the runs to work, trips to the allotment and supermarket, where we were stopped by a chap who had once owned a Type 2.  He had some great stories to tell and wished us "luck" saying that he would keep his eye out for us, his look one that showed he was thinking of seeing us by the roadside needing help!

Its always great to talk to "old" owners and the odd person who just stops to take a look - it appears a camper is a real "ice breaker" as no matter where we are, supermarket, petrol station, car park......, there is always someone keen to have a chat and ask about Daisy or pass on their experience.

MOT is on the horizon so the next few weeks will be spent trying to spot any issues, a new tyre a cert. so am getting that sorted this week along with the tracking.
