So, knowing if Daisy was going to start or not was getting to be an issue, all leads, earths, battery had been checked and so the Starter Motor was thought to be at fault, a visit from"re-tune Alan" confirmed.
A quick web check gave a couple of options, and so we needed to remove the old before ordering the new, 3 hours later and a lot of bits removed, the starter was off. A lot of the bits removed, it turns out need not have been!, but it was good to learn more about how the van is put together!
Due to an alarm call-out at work, the 3 hours were spread over two nights and also ment I had to fork out for a Saturday delivery!, but
http://www.machine7.com/ were as usual great and the new motor was with us bright and early. Putting it back was easy!, but a service was due so a happy morning was spent, dodging the rain and giving Daisy a little TLC before her busy months of June, July & August travelling the Festivals and Parties.
